Married to Amazement













Mary Oliver in "When Death Comes," writes:

When it's over, I want to say:  all my life
I was a bride married to amazement.


What would it mean to be married to amazement?

    I've always liked that line of Oliver's: to be so attuned to and with all that is, with everything that lives and is alive, to always find sustenance in the "new" that's always been there, to ever wonder at what God put before us.
